Manual occlusion of the tracheostoma to shunt air towards the esophagus. Optional
detachment of the strap of the Blom-Singer Low Pressure voice prosthesis.
The strap can be removed or glued to the peristomal skin with silicone skin adhesive
(figure .4). The insertion is ready and the patient can use the prosthesis.
